November 28: Full Moon in Gemini

The Moon is full and bright in the sign Gemini, and that is good. It is good to see things clearly when the Moon is in such a lively and curious sign opposite the Sun in adventurous Sagittarius. Curiosity and adventure - seems like a match made in heaven!

But there is an issue with pacing. The Sun's energy is fused with the fiery, go get 'em energy of Mars in Sagittarius. The Moon opposes those energies. Gemini is alert, quick and lively. It might be easy to feel a little over-extended, a bit over-excited. Things move pretty quickly. And since Gemini rules communication, and Sagittarius has Opinions, it isn't hard to see how easy it might be to get carried away into saying something hard to hear or to be seduced into offering an unwanted opinion.

Furthermore, on the full Moon, the North Node in Aries is conjunct the dward planet Eris. There is often unspoken anger in Eris: Aries can act assertively or aggressively. Under the Sun/Mars in Sagittarius and Moon in Gemini, old issues might erupt into a confrontation. Maybe that is a good thing. Clearing the air often rids of us of old, toxic material. And making up after clearing the air can be dee-liicious.

The planet Saturn at 0 degrees Pisces is square (in tense aspect) both the Sun and Moon. Saturn prefers a slower, more sedate pace, and is begging the Sun and Moon to behave with some polite decorum! The South Node and the planet Venus are in Libra, trine Saturn in Pisces. Saturn in Pisces can act with polite decorum, but then the air doesn't get cleared. Sometimes, confrontation is good. But speaking too hastily isn't helpful, either. So, finding a balance between the polite face of Saturn and the impetuousness of the Gemini/Sagittarius Full Moon can be Just Right.

Astrological events do not pack the same punch for everyone. If one of your personal planets line up with the event, the effect is more personally important to you. If you have planets are very low degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Pisces or Virgo or very high degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn, you will feel this transit more strongly.
