Astrology of Wednesday, December 16
In my LeNormand Tarot deck, the scythe card looks a lot like the sickle of Father Time (Saturn at 29 degrees Capricorn), associated with endings. The Moon is in Capricorn today (ruled by the planet Saturn), occupying the space between Pluto and Saturn/Jupiter at 29 degrees Capricorn. You might think of it as the Moon arbitrating the quickly separating planets. Yesterday's Electoral College vote has landed like a scythe, deciding the matter.
But we aren't done with extreme behavior and crazy allegations - Saturn and Jupiter is at the critical degree of 29 in Capricorn. One thing they may say: the king is dead, long live the new king! A transition of power is taking place. A decision has been reached; time to move on. The high use of Saturn is to acknowledge reality.
The low side of Saturn is to value material benefits over integrity. We have seen plenty of that from Mr. Pluto in Capricorn - the shadow side of Capricorn - but it isn't over yet. A man who has run out of options to avoid prosecution is a dangerous man.
Speaking of moving on, Saturn and Jupiter are days away from their movement into Aquarius. Saturn will enter Aquarius on December 16; Jupiter on December 20, and they will be conjunct at the Winter Solstice, And the vaccine has arrived! A nurse in Queens was the first to be vaccinated. New technology (Saturn/Jupiter, moving to Aquarius and squaring Uranus in Taurus) comes to bear on the covid crisis, the economy and climate change.
Jupiter will bring opportunities to address these problems, and his influence on Saturn in Aquarius will make it much easier to move ahead during the first 5 months of the year.. Let's hope these opportunities are acted upon, because the challenges are attainable, but won with greater effort after July, 2021 as Jupiter prepares to depart Aquarius on December 29, 2021.
