Astrology for Thursday, December 10
The Moon is in Libra today, part of a t-square of planets that indicate some view points that (surprise for readers of the news - yes, that is sarcastic) are not seeing eye to eye.
The Moon indicates the general sentiments of the people, and public opinion bends toward fairness, balance and justice (Libra). This is opposing the dwarf planet Eris in Aries and squaring Pluto in Capricorn. Eris is no mild mannered goddess. In legend she was the sister of Aries, the God of War, and "she delights in the dying groans of men on the battlefield." When I listen to death threats and racial taunts to Secretaries of State who are under fire for their refusal to de-certify election results, I hear echoes of Eris. She is discordant and violent. Both the Moon and Eris square, or challenge, Pluto in Capricorn. The author of rot and corruption in the halls of power, our President, is very angry. His ally is the planet Neptune in Pisces. Neptune rules illusion/delusion and is quite amenable to spin fantasies in alliance with Pluto in Capricorn.
Meanwhile Saturn, so soon to leave Capricorn, represents old men with monied power blocking action on climate change (Uranus in Taurus) action. The pandemic and the existential threat of climate change rage on, largely unaddressed by the President. Reminds me of Nero fiddling while Rome was burning. Time is of the essence, and we spend time worrying about baseless claims of election fraud instead of our current crises.
