Astrology for the Week of May 22 - 28

On Monday, we have a trine between the Sun which has just entered Gemini, and Pluto at the beginning of Aquarius. Change might come more easily today, especially for those with planets at the beginning of Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. These are idea oriented air signs and their attachment to the status quo is more flexible - especially if they perceive a new idea they want to pursue!

On the other hand, Mars is in Leo, opposing Pluto in Aquarius and squaring Jupiter in Taurus. It can be a bit of a struggle to get these fixed signs to work together amicably, but the presence of Jupiter, a jovial planet, makes it easier for Mars, the God of War, to work effectively with Pluto, the God of Hell! We could see some massive power struggles, however, among the fixed signs of Leo, Taurus, Scorpio and Aquarius.

We all live under one sky, so we see a personal effect reflected in planetary movements and a collective effect as well. So, don't forget these principles will be reflected in the daily news in issues like the debt ceiling crisis. Violent events could occur, particularly on Wednesday or Thursday. By Saturday, however, the Moon in Virgo trines Jupiter in Taurus, allowing people to enjoy a pleasant Memorial Day Weekend. But at week's end, be prepared for some surprise events as the Moon trines Uranus!
