Astrology for Sunday, November 22

The Sun has just entered Sagittarius; the Moon has moved into Pisces; Venus has entered the domain of Scorpio. An explorer ventures into the domain of things they don't understand, but feels intuitively instead, while there is a desire to jealously maintain relationships as they are. Especially for those born or with planets in early degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Virgo or Gemini. Also early degrees of Scorpio, Aquarius, Leo, or Taurus.

Really, there is so much going on in the sky that few people won't feel some effect, although the effects will differ.

Let's talk for a moment about that Pisces Moon. It can shimmer with possibility, but there is always a question of whether or not reality is being viewed realistically. Neptune is in Pisces, too, making it hard to gasp reality in the here and now, further complicated by the fact that both the Moon and Neptune are trine Mercury in Scorpio. Mercury represents the function of communication within ourselves; the media more largely. So the result can be talk, talk, talk - will it ever end? And is it communicating unbiased reality and truth? We need to be careful as individuals that we are being as honest as possible. When we are evaluating the words of another, we should ask ourselves if words and actions mesh? Is there confusion? That could be a sign that something is not quite right.

Mercury can be a trickster, too, using words to deflect and displace honest feeling. And Scorpio does love a bit of power. So in the case of this administration, it is totally possible that misinformation and outright lies are in the air. But that does not mean that everyone will perceive it as false. Wait til the talking stops. Ignore the words. Time will tell if actions and words are in sync.
