Astrology for Saturday, February 13

The moon remains in Pisces today, having drawn very near to Neptune in Pisces. The Moon and Neptune are a powerful block. On the one hand, it can signal an increased attention by the public (Moon) on Covid-19; on the other, there is a lot of room here for going by fantasy and feeling, rather than intellect. Some of you may have very vivid dreams the night before and after.

Today, Neptune/Moon in Pisces is sextile (exciting) Pluto in Capricorn (powerful forces in the status quo that will stop at nothing to retain their power) and Mars in Taurus (angry, warlike people). To me, that sounds like the GOP may acquit Trump through lies and fantasies - despite the clear presentation of the Democratic prosecutors. The more Democratic forces are pictured by the Stellium in Aquarius - 5 of ten planets strong. The Aquarian stellium square (is in tense relationship with) Uranus in Taurus and Mars in Aquarius. This could indicate some establishment GOP forces that would like to see Trump gone, as the Democrats do, for different reasons.

The Aquarius vs Uranus in Taurus effect is conjunct the United States Sibley South Node of the Moon - a legacy of past indiscretions plays into this decision. Karma, you might say, is catching up to accountability as transiting Saturn in Aquarius conjuncts the South Node (legacy) of the United States.

Frankly, I don't know how this will play out. I firmly believed that once the evidence was presented, the GOP would have to convict or be tarnished. Perhaps they will, but it is too close to call. Tarnish will take place, regardless. The smartest thing many could do is not show up for the vote. That way, they do not have to go on record, and the number of Republican Senators needed to convict goes down (the count is not on the Senate as a whole but on the number of those present.).

President Biden's Pluto is at a close degree in Leo to the Aquarius square Taurus action, and his Saturn in Gemini is in harmonious aspect to transiting Saturn in Aquarius. This could mean, he supports the rule of law and sets about on an agenda of transformation and reformation. But he doing that already, so I don't see much to indicate an outcome in that.

For Donald Trump, his 12th house Pluto in Leo is square both Uranus in Taurus and Saturn in Aquarius. The 12th house is a house of loss, of thing hidden from the general public. Whatever is decided, his image is tarnished. This is far from a lucky outcome for him, whatever is decided.
