Astrology for July 9 - 11
Today, the CDC said Pfizer's recommendation of a booster shot was unnecessary. The vaccine, the CDC said, is very effective, and Pfizer is not helping get people immunized when they make a statement that makes the vaccine sound ineffective.
When I heard that, I thought about transiting Mercury in Gemini squaring Neptune in Pisces- communication (Gemini) of a scientific nature (Gemini) that is confusing (Neptune) in Pisces (pandemic). Neptune in Pisces is sextile (supporting) Pluto in Capricorn (conservative, powerful forces. Mercury in Gemini also inconjuncts, or forces an adjustment to the powers that be, Pluto in Capricorn. Obviously, this is not the only way this energy can manifest, but I would say believe only what you see yourself and maybe half of what you see! This seems to undermine factual information and favor the conservative forces. Gaslighting the facts can easily occur.
And the square between Mercury in Gemini and Neptune in Pisces will also manifest in a disconnect for some between logic (Gemini) and the deeper ocean of intuitive knowledge.
The New Moon puts the lights - Sun and Moon - male and female - in an inconjunct (adjustment) aspect with Saturn (responsibilities). This theme is repeated by Mars and Venus (man and woman) in Leo (romance, creativity, spontaneity opposing Saturn (responsibilities, duties) . There is a desire to have fun, abdicate the usual round of responsibilities and break free of routine. People are ready to bust a move, have a little romance. Freedom! Uranus in Taurus is square both Saturn in Aquarius and Mars andVenus in Leo. If there is a danger from amore infectiousDelta variant, I think it is a hard environment to get people to buckle down and address it if it hampers their own need for fun and romance. This influence will only get stronger this weekend as the Moon enters Leo by Sunday.
We've had a long slog as Saturn in Aquarius separated - Jupiter entering Pisces briefly and now headed back to Aquarius on July 29. Saturn is hard work, and legislation that went fairly smoothly in the early part of the year has slowed down with Saturn occupying Aquarius without the lucky influence of Jupiter. Vaccinations have slowed down, too. The longer covid is unchecked, the more likely it is that it will be a reservoir for new variants. When Jupiter re-enters Aquarius, even though it will not be in a close partnership with Saturn in Aquarius, I believe the way forward will be eased.
