The Moon is new today in the sign Cancer. The Sun and Moon are conjunct in the sign Cancer, beginning a waxing or growth cycle benefiting all things Cancerian that will last about 14 days.

Cancers love things that are apart of their history - so there may be a touch of the past that is renewed and becomes part of the future, too. Like an old flame that renews their acquaintance and becomes part of the future. (Particularly since the New Moon forms an inconjunct with Saturn - an adjustment of old responsibilities - perhaps to play a bit more?)

The new moon is occurring at the mid degrees of Cancer. Cancer forms a water triplicity with Scorpio and Pisces. All three are feeling, sensitive and intuitive signs. Anyone with planets in any of those three signs at mid degrees can tune into their intuition and feel a tie to their rich, emotional life. Water is an element of feeling, so pay attention to your feelings and intuition. Sensitivity and emotional responses are heightened now.

Anyone with planets at mid degrees in Aries, Libra or Capricorn may be challenged to acknowledge their feelings and integrate this awareness - of emotions, of things that go bump in the night - into their own world. This isn't always easy if you are an impatient fire sign or a firmly planted earthy person or an airy idea person.

This is a very fertile, growth period, one that helps gardeners a lot - so plant, water, grow!
